About Child Dentistry

Regular checkups are recommended for children. We carry out a number of procedures including preventive treatments such as pit and fissure sealants and fluoride treatments for kids! The chewing surfaces of the back teeth are rough and uneven because they have small pits and grooves. They tend to accumulate food and bacteria. Sealants are thin plastic coatings which are painted on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth.

Children should get these sealants on their primary and permanent molars as soon as the teeth come in – before decay attacks the teeth! Fluoride treatments make teeth more resistant to decay, repairs tiny areas before they become big cavities and makes bacterial less able to cause decay. We also provide treatments to patients with special needs!
